I have finally gotten hold of a copy of “The New Human: Awakening to our Cosmic Heritage” by Mary Rodwell. As mentioned in my last article on Mary, the term New Human in its Latin form Homo novis was introduced by L. Ron Hubbard in 1952 to describe a person who had received a good run of Dianetics and Scientology processing and was much better off as a result.
Mary’s use of the term is a bit different. She uses it to describe a person who to some degree is aware of its ET connections and feels it is here on some sort of mission to help humanity.
I haven’t read the book yet; just most of the first chapter. It’s a bit difficult for me because from my viewpoint it goes very slow. My general points about how Mary and others of her background are approaching this subject all still apply. Needless to say, she is still totally unaware of Hubbard’s work.
Is a New Age really coming?
I cannot say that I am a student of the New Age in any formal sense. Yet I have contacted some of its personalities and websites in the hope of finding people receptive to the idea of exploring Hubbard’s work.
It is thought by some to be a CIA-inspired movement (like the Hippies and LSD) to give people with a more “open mind” some material to focus on that could help The Managers (as I like to call them) keep such people under control.
Hubbard is not New Age and so is rejected by the New Age. However, many Scientologists identify with the New Age because of its interest in “spiritual awakening,” health through proper diet and nutrition, and non-drug handlings for many human problems.
However, another aspect of the New Age is its quasi-religious belief in Ascension. In English, Ascension generally refers to the biblical event by the same name. Thus, it is a bodily ascent. You actually physically go somewhere else. In UFOlogy this is usually referred to as being picked up by a space ship.
This idea of Ascension then ties back to the materialistic philosophy of Evolution, as in, “humanity is evolving and as a result will some day ascend.” This tie-in is a huge warning sign to me. Materialism is generally opposed to ideas that emphasize the spiritual.
And in many ways, the most traditional ideas of Ascension do not emphasize the spiritual. You physically leave. However, many commentators traditionally associated with the New Age movement have either rejected it entirely as just another control operation (George Kavassalis and Lisa M. Harrison) or have modified their ideas of what “Ascension” as a global phenomenon might really consist of. They all, however, tend to insist that we are “evolving.” Well, of course, in plain English terminology, we are evolving. However, in plain English terms, that doesn’t necessarily mean that we are getting better.
Are the Ancient Teachings valid?
Another emphasis of New Age people is on “ancient teachings.” Some may have even studied these teachings. The “new” messages from ET tend to confirm the “validity” of those teachings.
But why should ET be so interested in confirming the validity of a set of teachings that never really worked out for us here on Earth, and were probably put there by ET in the first place? New Agers tend to not see or ignore the logical conundrum involved here.
So what we have is in many ways a new religion that hearkens back to our “ancient roots.” And that’s all I see really going on here. It’s a control system for a New Age, upgraded with all the latest hip technology terms, but nevertheless basically designed to put us on a treadmill were we will happily stay put.
You see: A lot of these teachings, just like more modern ones, like Evolution, have very little real data backing them up. There is a lot of effort to concoct such data. But you look beneath that effort, and you don’t find any data, you find what looks more like a propaganda operation. It has been documented that some of the original “evidence” for human evolution (from apes) was faked. Other pieces of it are so tenuous they really do not stand up to any great scrutiny. What we know is that many different hominids lived on Earth. And that’s really all we know.
The latest Disclosure push
David Wilcock and Corey Goode are in the forefront of a push for Disclosure.
Just a few days ago, David released a video of parts of a presentation he gave in Los Angeles about a month earlier. One of the purposes of that presentation was to link the history of one of the ET groups that have been on Earth (which he calls the “pre-Adamites”) to groups that have so far been the most successful in dictating how Earth is being managed. This is supposed to explain why they have such an anti-human approach to Earth, even though they are currently humans like all the rest of us.
This link is conjecture. And the Reptilians are also involved in this story, and are often identified (incorrectly?) with one of the pre-Adamite factions. But the point is, there is a push going on to get certain data out to the public. And it is affecting parts of the older New Age movement in various ways. This new information has a lot of intense political and historical data involved with it – as well as some technology data. That wasn’t the traditional New Age approach. David struggles with the political aspects of what he is helping to release. It’s obviously something he’s not used to, not trained in. He recently had a political scientist Dr. Michael Salla on his Cosmic Disclosure show with Corey Goode. And he seemed comfortable with what Salla was talking about, so apparently he is learning as he goes along.
But what all this is doing is connecting the airy-fairy old New Age to the hard-nosed political students of the old Old Age. And some of them are learning each others’ data.
So what we have is a propaganda push connected to a political struggle that are both moving forward at this time. A few are aware of this link, while others, such as Mary Rodwell, I am sure are quite unaware of it. People like David Wilcock have been changing their expectations for how this will all play out on Earth. He has gotten “into” the political struggle aspect of the whole thing, so has some awareness that relative positions could change as the struggle develops. What I’m not sure he fully grasps yet is the traditional willingness of political players to tell various publics almost anything to gain their support and cooperation. For example, the Reptilians have the support and cooperation of certain human groups probably because of promises they have made to those groups. Will those promises be kept? That’s anybody’s guess. But the same thing could just as easily be happening on the “other side.” Wilcock is convinced that those who are for disclosure and against the Reptilians are basically pro-humanity and will also support a program of spiritual development. That may be true of the humans involved. But the ETs? It’s hard to say. Even the New Humans of Mary Rodwell’s books might not completely be what they appear to be, or what she wishes they were.
Using lies as facts
As usual, many people are following the faulty mental habit of putting up value judgements with their observations. I am learning that this is because most people are afraid to observe (communicate) to the extent necessary to get the understanding of any given situation that they should really have. Though this is ultimately a problem of conditioning, it can be overcome to some extent by effective training. Very few on Earth have had that training.
So what we still have on Earth, in spite of everything that has been happening, is the old pattern of people using weak facts to support strong belief systems. That game is not designed for real improvement. It’s not really designed to be much more than an interesting treadmill. A few are working for something better than that. I wish there were more.
