A Tale of Two Stories

18 August 2016

Battlefield Earth

This story was written in 1980 by L. Ron Hubbard. In it, the hero, a very smart Earth human, learns the secrets of teleportation after using it to destroy the planet on which it was invented, which had gone psychopathic.
When ETs threaten to take Earth and its people for their own uses, the hero successfully holds them off by teleporting a bomb to one of their moons and blowing it up, then threatening to do the same to any planet that seeks to dominate the universe through war.

Sands of Time III

This story was written in 2016 by Sean David Morton. In it, the hero, a very smart Earth human, learns the secrets of teleportation with the help of his extremely bright wife and grown-up children.
When ETs threaten to make “an example” of Earth for treaty violations, the hero successfully holds them off by teleporting himself to the bridge of their Commanding Officer’s battleship, killing his Technical Officer before he can relay the order to strike, and warning the Commander that such interventions will become routine should he and his flotilla ever show up in our solar system again.

Fact or Fiction?

Hubbard stressed in his introduction to Battlefield Earth that it was “pure Science Fiction.” However, Hubbard had by that time extensively studied the past history of life in this universe and filled his story with all sorts of hints at that truth.

Sean, on the other hand, maintains that his story is based on “journals” kept by a recent past leader of The Group (Earth’s secret space program) and that only the names and dialogue are fictional.

There is a persistent story in “alternative reality” circles that my church was infiltrated and suborned by persons directed from a U.S. government intelligence agency because of their need for a workable spirit-based technology to use for their own purposes.

Seeing as how the greater part of the technology is freely available in written form, it seems odd to me that this level of intervention would be necessary. Yet it is also clear that people in those circles have been interested in, and studied, Scientology.

As I have no personal knowledge of all the behind-the-scenes shenanigans, I cannot comment further on these “findings.” the Intelligence agencies have become masters of creating fiction. But it always helps in maintaining a fiction if as little as possible is knowable about the fictitious events. This is not true of most of the history of Hubbard and Scientology. It is true of the leader of “The Group.” So, where is there more room for fiction? I say, in the “facts” fictionalized from the “journals” left to Sean David Morton.

This presents us with the possibility that Sean’s “journals” are to a greater or lesser extent actually fictional, “leaked” to the public by a group that wants to build a case for its continued existence and activities.

The Living Physics Model

Both stories present their own versions of what could be called a “model” for all that is knowable.

Morton’s model is based on the New Age / Quantum Physics synthesis so popular in the “alternative reality” community today, and supposedly used by ET civilizations as well as our own secret space program. It is based loosely on the Eastern “chakra” system, combined with the idea that “anything that has ever happened or ever will happen is all actually happening at the same time,” thus making “time travel” possible. Morton holds out for a probabilistic future, while others insist that it all depends on which “timeline” you choose.

In Hubbard’s model there are only two main components: Cause and Effect. Cause is defined as non-physical and Effects are always physical to some degree. A causative being creates effects. A being could never create another being, and an effect, even a light one like a thought or memory, can never create anything.

Time is a concept we use to describe the “automated” process of continuous creation, which keeps something “existing” after it has been initially created. If an item were not created with a postulate that it would endure, it wouldn’t continue to exist beyond the point where it’s creator discontinued creating it.

The only “real time” is NOW. The past exists only as energy deposits in present time containing recordings of earlier events or states of existence. The future only exists as an agreement that matter will persist and events will follow certain patterns. Some of these patterns are so strongly agreed to that they can be codified into “Laws of Physics.” However, the idea that time exists as a “dimension” in Physics, on an equal footing with the dimensions of space, is only an illusion; a convenience for predicting phenomena governed by strong agreements such as the Physical Laws.

Per Hubbard, time travel per se is not possible. Both records of the past and expectations about the future are held in place by strong agreements among the various members of the group “Cause.” To alter records of the past or expectations of the future is simply a process of disagreeing with those strong agreements. Most in the group would consider this bad manners, if not criminal! The future should be fair game. However, not everyone is OK with that.

The ability to move objects around as if they were merely ideas could therefore be considered to be a focused, limited, but very strong intention to disagree with the rest of Creation.

In both books this process requires huge machines that use massive amounts of energy. This may or may not be actually possible. But I know that this ability is well within the grasp of any portion of Cause that is willing to disagree and to take responsibility for its decisions. While it would seem to spoil the agreed-upon game, it is Hubbard’s argument that life in bodies is not all it’s cracked up to be, and a longer leash – if not a total separation – might be good for all of us.

This ability, then, regardless of exactly how it is implemented, is a key survival ability. Both Morton and Hubbard present to us scenarios illustrating how unsettling it can be to attain and use this ability. They both stress that the attainment of it should not be for the purpose of using it, but rather for the purpose of knowing you could if you absolutely had to.

No Man’s Sky

14 August 2016

No Man’s Sky is a “science fiction” video game that I found out about last year when I went into a gamers’ computer store and asked if they had anything to offer involving space travel. This game – in the works for years now – was finally released on Friday the 12th of August.

At about the same time as the release of this game, I found out that Sean-David Morton’s 3rd book in his “Sands of Time” series was being released, and I got a Kindle copy of it and have been reading it.

Sean-David claims this story is based on the journals of a recent past leader of The Group. Per Sean, those journals were entrusted to him after that man’s death (or disappearance). The documents purport to explain many odd phenomena that have been happening on Earth since the birth of the Space Age in Germany in the 1930s.

Per Sean-David’s story (though corroborated by many other sources to a greater or lesser degree), space is indeed “no man’s sky.” Not only does ET not want us flying around out there in our current “uncivilized” state, but no one ET group has definitive control out there, either. The place is just too big!

LRH came to a similar conclusion in the 1960s, after 10 years of research into our long-past experiences on “other worlds.” To LRH, this part of his research was somewhat esoteric and off-the-point. If Mankind did not achieve a better balance between spiritual abilities / awarenesses and our eternal lust for physical-world “experience” we would never attain a reasonable level of freedom and happiness, and what might come to happen here on Earth in the not-too-distant future would not make that much difference.

I have made it one of my jobs (for the time being) to make the people who are most interested in “what’s really happening” on Earth aware of Hubbard’s work. I know for sure that the “other side” is aware of it! Ask any Remote Viewer where the early ideas for their technology came from. See the evidence of Hubbard’s influence strewn throughout the “leaked” documents from various secret military programs.

Sean-David Morton

I don’t know that much about him. He is currently 56 years old. He has some psychic ability that he once used to advise people on financial dealings. He never asked for payment, he says, but got some nice gifts from some of his clients.

He is a mini-celebrity in the Los Angeles area and hosts one or more radio programs. His public persona is rather insouciant (a word I learned from LRH) and he comes on as rather high-school in his shows. He knows that most people can’t be bothered by the true meaning of life and all that, but he seems to be one who has confronted this subject himself and come to terms with it.

I think he is convinced of the basic truth of the story he has been writing. The Group was created in the United States to deal with the “Alien Threat.” Many New Agers are totally convinced that there is no significant global security threat from ET. Dr. Steven Greer is a leading proponent of that point of view. He thinks all the trouble is coming from Earth humans. LRH was not so sure about that. Greer has not looked at the data collected by Hubbard. Hubbard may have been aware of some of the data Greer has been exposed to, but if so, has not mentioned it publicly. Hubbard’s viewpoint, though, is backed up by other insiders who have gone public. ET appears to be a very mixed bag. And their people are capable of considerable deception.

Sean’s story does not cover much beyond the actions of The Group itself. It is “officially” part of the US Navy. But its work in UFO retrievals and reverse-engineering of ET technologies has apparently put it above all other organized power groups on Earth. The public view is that The Group are a bunch of scoundrels. Their own view is different. According to Sean’s story, they have saved Earth from major ET-caused catastrophes at least 4 times in the last century.

From this point of view, it was ET that managed to convince the US government that its conventional military organizations would be powerless in the face of a real ET attack. One ET group wanted us to totally disarm all our nuclear weapons. Ike refused to do so, instead starting a program that could possibly be hidden from ET that would bring us up to a technological level where we could hold our own against them. The Group has maintained total secrecy concerning its actions and its existence. There have been many attempts on Earth to expose it. Most of the “pro-disclosure” crowd are very sure that the above top secret programs operated by The Group are simply protecting corporate interests at the expense of the general population. None have been confronted by the possibility that they have actually saved our asses several times now – except through Sean’s book.

The story remains incomplete

I just started up No Man’s Sky today. I am stranded on a strange planet, and would have to not only learn how to play video games in general, but also this game in particular, in order to get myself out of this do-or-die predicament.

Our situation here on Earth does not seem that much different. We have A LOT to learn if we want our current way of life – or anything remotely resembling it – to continue on this planet. We have The Group’s approach, which seems to have set up a half-way decent but totally secret security perimeter around the planet. And we have LRH’s approach, which offers Mankind a half-way decent and almost totally not secret alternative to the path that we are currently walking down. They both have their places in solving the dilemma. Most of the other news I am getting seems to be noise.

Washington State Primary

2 August 2016

Got an email yesterday from a political group reminding me to vote in the primary! Thought I had more time…I was planning to actually research the candidates, but it was too late. I filled out the ballot, sealed it up, and took it downtown to deposit it in a metal drop box near City Hall.

Sending a message

You can participate in a democratic process for at least two reasons: To help someone get elected or to send a message to the “front runners.” Though using voting for the second reason is not an organized activity at this point, it well could become so. I am not happy with either of the major parties. But I found out there are a lot of candidates for state offices who identify with alternative parties like the Libertarians or the Independents. I don’t know if any of these parties ever get their people elected. But by organizing and running they are trying to send a message to the major parties that there is a section of the population which is not happy with the Republicans or the Democrats. So by voting for candidates from alternative parties, you help them send this message.

Aren’t the Asses and the Dumbos actually opposing each other?

The media and the candidates themselves try to portray themselves as political opponents. But that’s not what I see. In 1963 the Democrats lost a president under mysterious circumstances. Why haven’t they ever gone after that issue? Or the 9/11 loss, which happened while a Republican President was in office?

Ike, upon retiring from the Presidency, warned us about the “military-industrial complex.” It is very real. Why don’t the politicians or the press ever mention it? Could it be that it rose to become all their masters, as Ike warned it might? That’s the theory most of us in the “alternative community” now operate on.

So by “sending a message” of non-support through the voting process, this is the power group we are ultimately communicating to.

Are politicians really necessary?

Many in my circles have argued that the importance of politics in life – especially in modern life – is extremely over-stated by the media and the politicians. Ultimately, I think that’s true.

But it would be unwise to think that just because most people, most communities, are perfectly able to take care of themselves and make their own best decisions, that this leaves no place for politics or politicians. The problem is to find that place and put those people in that place, and keep them there. In other words, government has a purpose. Most people just don’t know what it is.

Awareness of what is

The essence of politics is probably leadership. It’s secondary purpose is management. When an individual in a group rises to help that group through some challenge, and is successful at that, the group tends to look at that individual as “powerful.” The truth is that we are all powerful, but under those circumstances that individual was more aware of something than the others, and was able to communicate it in a way that got the group to work together to get something done that needed to be accomplished.

Probably that leader’s ideal scene would be to bring everyone in the group up to his own level of awareness, so they could all share equally in the responsibilities that accompany being more aware. But most leaders don’t know how to do that, or see their “power” as something they can use to their own personal advantage.

We should never forget, though, that “power” derives from an awareness of what is – some more basic truth of existence – and concentrates into the hands of a few individuals only when they are successful in keeping those awarenesses a secret from everyone else. If you can learn to become more aware of what is, you will become more free from the control of powerful elites, but you will also carry the responsibility of that increased awareness with you and feel the need to act on it, first by sharing that awareness, or that ability to be aware, as broadly as you can. You either join one of the power elites, or you “fight” them in that manner.
